  • Potatoes should be firm, well shaped and relatively smooth
  • They should not be sprouting or have green coloration

How to Store :

Potatoes should be stored in a dark, dry place because higher temperatures, even room temperature, will cause the potatoes to sprout and dehydrate early. Good places to store potatoes are root cellars, basements or a cool, dark closet. Potatoes stored properly can last up to two months.
