Kiwi is a great refreshing fruit that can be enjoyed anytime! The bright green flesh and the slight crunch of the poppy-like seeds is sweet tasting with a citrus note. Kiwis are from Chang Kiang Valley of China. Called “Yang Tao” by the Chinese, they were considered a delicacy by the great Khans who relished the fruit’s brilliant flavor and emerald green color. To eat, scoop the flesh of a kiwi with a spoon, and add to smoothies or fruit salads.
